The Craft and Hobby Association’s summer trade show is coming up in Orlando, and we have been working feverishly on new products. We’re excited to kick off a week long preview of all the new products on the blog… and we’ll be giving away tons of prizes too. Let us know what you think, we love hearing from YOU.

Our new PEAR dies for AccuCut are just SOME of the new dies we designed for this show. The pears can be cut in three sizes, making them perfect for cards, home decor, gift bags, and more! Click here for the latest news on the Summer 2009 release AccuCut is featuring for the show!

Using the Creative Cafe green glitter paper to cut out the pear, Roree added sparkle and that little bit of bling to her projects. THEN, in true Roree style, she turned the pear UPSIDE down, and used it as a BALLOON on this birthday card!

Let’s start the CHA Kick-off with a prize package of Creative Cafe goodies, including some glitter pear die cuts! How do you win? Just post where you purchase your scrapbook goodies. Tell us your favorite local scrapbook store, or online store. We’ll pick one random winner the week of August 2nd.
Stores win too! The store with the most posts will also win a special Creative Cafe prize package! So if you have a store, LET your customers know, they can post too! Good luck!

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the cooler weather, the changing leaves, and best of all… Halloween. We love to pick out costumes and decorate the house. My husband’s birthday is also right around Halloween, so we always love to mix birthday and Halloween festivities together.
The Spirit line is just perfect for making Halloween projects. For this Halloween party set, I have used just a few of the many different products from Creative Cafe. There are tags, ribbon, buttons, patterned paper, felt… and scalloped paper bags and gems from the Creative Lifestyle collection.

Hope you all have a Happy Halloween! ~Roree

with Creative Cafe transparencies.

Have you tried the new transparencies yet? They are just so much fun to work with and can be used on all types of projects. Here, I used the Spirit Lime Floral Transparency for a background on one card and as the card base for the other. I hope you get a chance to play with this fun product. If you do, why don’t you link it up here so I can see the fun ways you used it. :)
Have a great weekend! ~Roree

The projects I used here, are all from my favorite - go to Creative Cafe goodies. I love the LUCKY line, the colors and patters are so happy and versatile.
The clipboard is what I used to display my monthly calendars. It’s adorable and was very easy to alter. This size here is perfect for my desk.
I’m also having a little love affair with the Classified Felt Alphabet. It’s the perfect touch for cards and memory projects alike.

Have a great day, Chris!!

Hi! Just a little card for Christmas. I know that is only July, but it is hot and humid here and this reminder of cooler days seemed like a great idea.
I made the base with the new Polka Dot Acrylic sheet and an Accucut die for Creative Cafe. The paper is new Lucky Florals. The “Holly” leaves were made by cutting pieces of the Green Scallop Velvet Ribbon then I added some of the Creative Cafe glitter for the veining. I also glittered up the diecut Flourish with the Clear Glitter Glue color. Then it wouldn’t have been complete without the Dark Red Gems and Bulk Buttons for the berries! So sparkly and pretty for a holiday card.
Thanks for stopping by — now don’t you feel just a little cooler after thinking Christmas?
Linda

Creative Cafe Chipboard sheets make a great base for those mini albums , but how about those left over bits and pieces? Well with a little doodling they can also make for Fantastic 3D embellishments! In this case I simply drew the monkey pieces from 2 different colors of the chipboard, cut them out and then layered them together for this fun accent! Adhere on a Creative Cafe Tag, add a button and a felt phrase for a one of a kind tag for your pages, gifts or doorknobs! Nice and sturdy, and fun to boot!
~Enjoy!

I know I do. It is hard for me NOT use them on a project. That is why I just love the Creative Cafe Felt Flower Shapes. They add a great punch of color, texture, and dimension to any project. They just make me happy.

For this project, I used a tag, felt flower shapes, buttons, a round die-cut chipboard shape, twill ribbon, Spirit Cards rub-ons, and some of the new ledger notebook paper (released at Winter CHA). I added a little hand-stitching too.
I hope you will check back often to see some of the wonderful projects posted by the design team. They should definitely not be missed. ;)
