My favorite part of these exciting new Creative Cafe dies from Accucut are the words and flowers! The sizing of the words make them wonderful to use with rub-ons, stickers or even stamps.

Below are MORE samples, that are just a preview of two other wonderful projects we’ll showcase in the next few days! The set of flower dies includes over 8 different pieces that you can mix and match to create different flowers, stems and centers. You’ll love all the different combinations you can create!

CHA Winter 2010 is going to be an exciting show. Make sure you stay tuned for more previews of the new products… as well as a few FREE giveaways!

Wow, can you believe that? We all know how time flies, so now would be a good time to get busy on those handmade gifts. This little round Chipboard album made with an Accucut circle die and lots of Creative Cafe cardstock stickers, buttons, and chipboard shapes would be a perfect gift for a loved one who would enjoy a yearly review of photos. The circle shape is a fun way to create and you can easily follow the edges to add your own handwriting for that extra personal touch.
Best wishes for a productive fall season!

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the cooler weather, the changing leaves, and best of all… Halloween. We love to pick out costumes and decorate the house. My husband’s birthday is also right around Halloween, so we always love to mix birthday and Halloween festivities together.
The Spirit line is just perfect for making Halloween projects. For this Halloween party set, I have used just a few of the many different products from Creative Cafe. There are tags, ribbon, buttons, patterned paper, felt… and scalloped paper bags and gems from the Creative Lifestyle collection.

Hope you all have a Happy Halloween! ~Roree

so i saw this cute idea in a martha stewart magazine a while back, but never did it because her version involved sewing (which i can’t do!).
so instead i used one of the felt pockets (already sewn into a purse shape), punched some holes in the top and strung some of the yummy corduroy ribbon through them as the strap. add some fun flowers & embellishments, and you’re done….and the best part, no sewing at all

These little felt pockets are so fun and so versatile! I made a little min album by punching holes in three of the pockets and then adding binder rings to keep them together. I added pictures to the pages but also slipped tags into the pockets to hold extra photos and journaling. These colors and textures are perfect for fall photos. With just a little effort, you can make a fun little album in no time!

A month or so ago I read an article in Family Fun magazine about making button jewelry with your children. They had buttons rings, button barrettes, button earrings, all sorts of things. Of course I immediately thought about the Creative Cafe buttons and saved the article for later use. Today I pulled it out and my three year old and I got to work. I used two little silver rings we got in a ten-pack from the dollar store, some Spirit buttons, and glue. Five minutes later this is what we had….

Here’s the lovely hand model showing off our handiwork! It was a fun, easy project that we did together…plus they are super cute when finished. Give it a try! Have a great day!

with Creative Cafe transparencies.

Have you tried the new transparencies yet? They are just so much fun to work with and can be used on all types of projects. Here, I used the Spirit Lime Floral Transparency for a background on one card and as the card base for the other. I hope you get a chance to play with this fun product. If you do, why don’t you link it up here so I can see the fun ways you used it. :)
Have a great weekend! ~Roree

It may seem a little early for Halloween but most stores are already stocked and ready to go! I thought since we just turned the corner into September, it was time for some Halloween inspiration. I absolutely LOVE the color combinations in the Spirit line as they are so versatile. By combining the orange, green and a little black, the line is well suited for your Halloween photos. This page is super easy to put together but packs a bunch thanks to those AccuCut dies!
Thanks for looking!
