We made it into Orlando, and the Creative Imaginations preview party was tonight. We introduced our new Creative Cafe Calendar Collection this afternoon, which was a big hit! More than ever this year, I wanted to reflect on what scrapbooking means to me, why it’s important and where I am in the BIG PICTURE of what I feel is important to scrapbook.  I have been really working hard to make sure that my scrapbook time accomplishes what I want to have recorded tomorrow, in a year and in 10 years.  I have made some HUGE progress, but I have more changes to make.  However,  the road is as much as the reward as the finished piece.

 

If you haven’t taken the time lately to think about what it is you want from your scrapbooking, we encourage you to do that this week as we celebrate this process that brings us all together.

One of my favorite sets features several different shapes of postmarks and matching phrases. Mix and match the phrases and shapes for several different combinations. 

My other favorite set is the new numbers! Look how versatile they are for “age pages”. Here’s a sample of one of Melodee’s pages she designed of her son, Drew with the new stamps. Love how all the stamp pad colors coordinate with all the papers too! Ooooh. Aaaah.
