It’s summer, and between swimming lessons, visiting friends and family and hopefully some vacation time… we still managed to find some cute inspiration for you! These cute decorated drinks are perfect for a birthday party or a little gift for someone in your office. Layer die cut paper flowers, and glue on the top of a small drink. Embellished with buttons, a tag and some ribbon… and it’s GOOD to GO!

Kids are getting out of school for the summer, the weather in MOST parts of the country is getting warmer… and the summer season of activities begins! From swimming to baseball, we wanted to inspire you with these new layouts using Creative Cafe’s latest products.

More than ever this year, I wanted to reflect on what scrapbooking means to me, why it’s important and where I am in the BIG PICTURE of what I feel is important to scrapbook.  I have been really working hard to make sure that my scrapbook time accomplishes what I want to have recorded tomorrow, in a year and in 10 years.  I have made some HUGE progress, but I have more changes to make.  However,  the road is as much as the reward as the finished piece.

 

If you haven’t taken the time lately to think about what it is you want from your scrapbooking, we encourage you to do that this week as we celebrate this process that brings us all together.

The newest Creative Cafe stamp sets will start shipping to your local stores soon! You’ll love the numbers, phrases, script, postage marks and other cool shapes… From card making to calendars there is something for everyone! 

 

One of my favorite sets features several different shapes of postmarks and matching phrases. Mix and match the phrases and shapes for several different combinations. 

My other favorite set is the new numbers! Look how versatile they are for “age pages”. Here’s a sample of one of Melodee’s pages she designed of her son, Drew with the new stamps. Love how all the stamp pad colors coordinate with all the papers too! Ooooh. Aaaah.
